FWIW: I've been told that eating yogurt after having antibiotics is a good way to reset you gut bacteria. I've not been sick enough in recent memory to have needed antibiotics, so I don't know if it's true or just an old wives' tale.

Unfortunately, most of the illness/recovery process has been driven by the antibiotics they gave me. Totally destroyed my stomach culture, so most of the past two weeks has been me playing the "what can I eat that won't make me barf" game. The actual bronchitis/coughing side of being sick has been mostly a mild nuisance in comparison.

Well, at least with Bronchitis you'll be able to do a really nice bark. I had it every year from 8 until 12 or 13, and I could do a great bark (that huffing cough that you get from bronchitis) after having it that frequently. I don't miss it.

Axel,
The landing accuracy story isn't really that impressive. We knew that if we were going to win, it had to come down to accuracy, so we got a differential GPS setup, and integrated that. The rest was just IIIan taking the now much better signal, and integrating it into a good control loop. And keeping the shutdown transient short to minimize bounce.

Congratulation for winning the LLC! Hopefully I soon find the time to check the web if Masten has revealed how you achieved that incredibly good landing accuracy...

Get well soon. And enjoy the break anyway.

Hey Jon - that's always the way: As soon as your body knows it's safe to relax, all the lurgs have a field day.

People report this sort of thing all of the time. Troops rarely get sick in combat, but as soon as you get a three day pass and are on the bus to Saigon, you start sniffling. Get better!
