You can tell that somebody is not working much when they talk a lot, kind of like one of the guys yakking on your blog. Keep up the good work.
That looks like melted concrete if I have ever seen it!
Well done. Keep up the light blogging, if this is the result. I love the smell of smoldering pavement in the morning.
I have loved shock diamonds ever since the childhood parlay of seeing them in a SF book cover illustration and thinking: cool!, then seeing them in an AvWeek photo and thinking: whoa, cool and real!
So, when are you going to take off the restrainers on that puppy ?

Hopefully before the weather gets really cold?
As it is, we still need to check out the other three engines. And we have a weird instability that wasn’t there before that we think may be feed-system induced that we have to get rid of. But things are getting there. We also need to tune the dynamic throttle PID loops, and make sure everything is operating safely and reliably. We’re learning a lot, and fortunately this is stuff we won’t have to revisit very much for future vehicles.
